2. Conditions, salary and benefits.

A.      Suzhou needs many foreign languages teachers for all levels: from kindergarten, junior middle school, senior middle school to university levels. The foreign languages mainly include English, Japanese, Korean, French and German.

B.       Conditions for English language teachers:

1.             Native speakers of English from U.S.A, Canada, Britain, Australia, New Zealandand Ireland.

2.             BA degree and above in any academic area with at least two years of teaching experiences.

3.             Those who have teacher certificates or TESOL, TEFL are preferred.

C.       Salary and benefits:

1.         Salary is decided according to the teachers’ credentials, courses and teaching experiences. At present, the monthly salary is roughly from 5000 Yuan RMB to 10000 Yuan RMB. This should be negotiated by two parties.

2.         Round-trip travel expenses reimbursed.

3.         Free lodging.

4.         Five to six weeks of paid winter, summer and school holidays. (It varies from school to school)

5.         Social insurance.

D.      Some specifications:

1.         One year employment contract with renewal option.

2.         The State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs provides a special training program for those foreign teachers who are short of two years of teaching experiences. If a foreign teacher passes the test after the short term training of seven days and is given a professional training certificate with the approval of the Provincial Foreign Experts Affairs Office, then this foreign teacher can work in Chinaas a foreign educational expert.
